Premier League

The Premier League is the top professional football (soccer) league in England, established in 1992. It consists of 20 clubs that compete against each other from August to May each season, playing a total of 38 matches per club. The league operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the English Football League (EFL) Championship. The team with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the champion, while the bottom three teams are relegated to the EFL Championship. The Premier League is renowned for its high level of competition, global television audience, and the significant financial revenue generated from broadcasting rights and sponsorships.
