Santos FC, or Santos Futebol Clube, is a professional football (soccer) club based in Santos, São Paulo, Brazil. Founded on April 14, 1912, it is one of the most successful and recognized football clubs in Brazil and South America. The club is known for producing and nurturing exceptional talents, including the legendary player Pelé, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest football players of all time. Santos FC plays its home matches at the Estádio Urbano Caldeira, commonly known as Vila Belmiro.
